Painting the Clothed Figure Outdoors

In this workshop we will explore the process of painting the clothed figure outdoors in the beautiful mountain surroundings of Winter Park, Colorado. (The workshop will take place during the RMPAP National Show.) Compositional methods, tips for achieving accuracy, keys to correctly seeing value and color, and tips on working with edges will be discussed and utilized. We will talk in depth about lighting differences between indoor and outdoor settings as well as how color is affected by the different kinds of light sources. We will also discuss how to best use photography in these settings to serve as source material for studio work. This workshop is open to all levels. Feel free to email me with any questions.
