I’m happy to announce that my painting Too Many Pumpkins is included in the Oil Painters of America Western Regional Exhibition.
This year’s show takes place in Scottsdale, Arizona at Marshall Gallery of Fine Art opens with a reception on November 4, 2016 from 6-9pm.
The OPA always puts together a beautiful display of paintings and I’m excited to have my artwork included. The entire show can be seen online at the Marshall Gallery website. The artwork will remain on display through November 30, 2016.

the question I have for you is when you pain on linen do you stretch it out on the frame before you paint.

Hi Marge. I don’t stretch linen on stretcher bars anymore, but instead mount the linen onto a panel. I do mount the linen on the panel before I paint. Click the link below for an article on my blog with more info. http://www.danschultzfineart.com/blog/stretched-canvas-vs-canvas-panels/
